1 x Beauty Balm 60ml (fragranced with essential oils or unfragranced option available)

1x Marshmallow Soften and Rejuvenate Facial Oil 30ml (fragranced with essential oils or unfragranced option available)

The Beauty Balm can be used to cleanse and remove make-up, including waterproof mascara, using the oil cleansing method and can also be used as a nourishing moisturiser. It is indeed a standalone skincare system in itself. However, adding the marshmallow facial oil to your night-time regime will really complete the system by including many polyunsaturated fatty acids and a potent dose of our marshmallow root extract.

Polyunsaturated fatty acids, in particular linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid, are essential to maintain a good skin barrier which keeps moisture in and pathogens out. But polyunsaturated fatty acids will oxidise in sunlight causing damaging free radical damage, which is why we recommend using them at night.

Marshmallow root extract is incredibly hydrating and softening. It’s known as an anti-aging herb and is a great addition to your day to day skincare protocol.

Lyonsleaf Beauty Balms are rich in saturated fatty acids that will not oxidise on the skin. They can be used to moisturise and prime during the day and to cleanse and remove make-up in the evening.
